Home Inspection Visit

At Kensa, we aim to make home inspections fun and informative. We’ll guide you through the inspection to ensure you clearly understand the home’s positives as well as the areas of improvement, and share various home ownership best practices along the way. We are thorough yet efficient, so you can expect the inspection to last roughly two hours, depending on the size and condition of the home.

COVID-19 Update

Safety is our top priority - both in what we look for during the inspection, as well as how we approach property visits.

What we do to help keep you safe during an inspection:

  • We continue to follow current official safety guidelines for COVID-19
  • Masks are optional for inspection attendees
  • Your Inspector is fully vaccinated and wears gloves during the inspection as needed
  • We respect any requests regarding safety, such as wearing a mask, social distancing, etc.

Receive & Review Report

Within 24 hours of completing your home inspection, you will receive an email with a link to your customized online report which will include full-sized photos, recommendations, and detailed observations. Our helpful and actionable reports are user friendly and simple to read, so you can easily find what you are looking for to inform your decision. You can create a custom report of all the recommended action items, create an itemized repair list, or download a PDF of the entire report.

Clarity Through Collaboration

Buying a home is a team effort that requires support from many people and professionals, and we believe that the home inspection experience should be a seamless part of the process. It is a privilege to work with buyers and agents during the inspection portion of the home buying journey.

Home Buyers

Communication

We believe that home inspections should make you feel educated, empowered, and excited. We don’t use unnecessary technical language and we don’t preach; we communicate clearly and constructively and with complete transparency to objectively inform your purchase decision.

Clarity

We bring light and lightness to an experience that is often clouded by fear and anxiety. We will work together to clear up any uncertainty and unknowns and we will have some fun along the way to celebrate this important journey. Our reports are clear, concise, and complete, and will truly prepare you.

Convenience

We recognize that there can be many moving parts and people to coordinate when purchasing a home. We also recognize that your other responsibilities in life don’t just go away when you are immersed in this process. So, we work hard to make your home inspection as easy and convenient as possible from beginning to end.

Agents

Credible

From capes to condos, new builds to 200 year-old houses, we have inspected over 1000 homes in Massachusetts and have a deep understanding of the homes in this area. We also understand that a referral from an agent is a reflection of their business, which we value greatly. We are professional, friendly, and efficient.

Collaborative

We approach our partnership as a collaboration with a shared goal of supporting our client in buying a home. We are transparent and communicate openly, and we don’t overstep. We work together to ensure both you and the client get a full picture of the property to inform the offer.

Contextual

Every home has its quirks and it's our responsibility to identify them and provide the appropriate context to help home buyers distinguish serious problems from those that are to be expected. We are rigorous and responsible with our commentary.
